Change of plan!

Due to the current forecast including the amber weather warning for tomorrow, we have changed plans and tomorrow will not be sports day.

The following changes will take place instead:

  • Sports day will move to Thursday 2nd July
  • PE Presentation Evening will move from Thursday 2nd July to Thursday 9th July
  • Presentation Evening will move from Thursday 9th July to early September. We'll confirm exactly when in the next bulletin.
  • The assessment timetables have change to accommodate this switch. New versions are shared below.
  • Year 10 will start their assessments a day earlier than planned, with the Art and Photography assessments happening tomorrow. Thank you to the Art team for being agile and accomodating our request.
  • Timings for tomorrow will stay as expected, early finishes begin as planned on Wednesday.
  • Thank you to the exams team for rearranging the assessment today.

Uniform during this week

Uniform Policy update

If any pupils wish to wear their school uniform but swap their charcoal grey trousers or charcoal grey  skirt and wear charcoal grey tailored knee length shorts, they are welcome to. This will be an unbranded item that you can buy from retail outlets, not the uniform stockists as we have not asked them to stock this - yet. We will update the school uniform policy to reflect this.

End of term is Friday 17th July and school re-opens for students on Wednesday 2nd September (further details to follow)

Thank you once for your support of the school as we have pivoted quickly to respond to the higher temperatures. We know lots of homes will have been busy getting thing sorted and ready for today.
