Endzone

  • The current timetable:

Year 9 World of Work Day

In the coming months we will be continuing our focus in school on careers and pupils’ futures. In Year 9, pupils are beginning to consider their future options and specifically their GCSE studies. The decisions of what to study is not easy for most, and while we know that you will support them as much as you can outside school, in school it is important that we continue to help mould their immediate future.

During the assessment period in March, we have an excellent opportunity as the Year 9 team to do some work that we hope will have a big impact in getting pupils to think about their futures, by giving them experience of a workplace. This will take place on Thursday 19th March 2026.

Parents are asked to complete the Firefly form above ASAP

School Show - Les Miserables

Our school show ‘Les Miserables’ is just over one month away! If you are a parent/guardian of a student who is in our show cast and crew, please can you ask them to go through their rehearsal schedule with you to ensure they are organised and able to attend all rehearsals - the rehearsal schedule is on their Showbie group. Thank you so much also for supporting your child in learning their lines and getting their costumes sorted.

Tickets will soon be going on sale on Parent Pay. We have two different casts, so please double check with your child before purchasing tickets for particular performances - details of which cast is performing in each performance will be shared on the 'Les Miserables' Showbie group. We would love to have four full-house audiences, so please encourage your wider family and friends to come along to enjoy the show!

If your child has a pass for the 262, a new pass has been issued for their allocated stop on route 263, and is on its way. There are no changes to the existing 263 stops and if your child currently uses the 263, no action needs to be taken. Nuts and Seeds - Allergy Information

We are resharing this beacise we have concerns that some pupils are eating nuts and seeds in school.

Upcoming L4L lessons will address this issue.

As parents/carers please note that Endon High School operates as a nut-free site, and has now extended this to being sesame-seed free as well. Many common packed-lunch items and snacks can contain sesame (for example, hummus, tahini, seeded bread, cereal bars), so we ask you to:

  • Review the ingredients of what your child brings for lunch.
  • Remind your child not to bring any items containing nuts or sesame seeds/oil.

This measure supports pupils who have severe allergies to nuts and/or sesame — reactions may be triggered even by airborne exposure in some cases.

Please be aware that allergies can escalate quickly and require immediate medical attention. For your information and reference, here are a few helpful links and guidance for parents:

Your cooperation is invaluable in helping us maintain a safe environment for all pupils. If you have any questions about this policy or need support with lunch-ideas, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.

Thank you for your attention and support. Some of our pupils really need us all to be careful.

    Severe Weather Plan

    Thank you!

Thank you for your patience and continued support as we navigated the challenging weather conditions at the start of the new term. The snow and icy conditions unfortunately prevented us from opening for the first two days, and we truly appreciate your understanding during this disruption.

We are pleased to be back open and look forward to welcoming pupils as we begin the term together.

Thank you once again for your cooperation and support.

Please remember to use the school website, Arbor, Firefly and follow our Facebook to keep updated.
