Thank you!

As we reach the end of this first half term, the longest of the school year, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone in our school community. Our pupils have been outstanding. They have settled into the new year with real determination, risen to the challenges put in front of them, and shown the effort and resilience that make Endon such a special place.

None of this would be possible without the commitment and hard work of our staff, who have given so much, both in and beyond the classroom, to make sure every pupil is supported and challenged to be their best.

My thanks also go to our parents and carers for your continued support, which makes such a difference.

I hope everyone has a restful and well-deserved break, and I look forward to welcoming pupils back after half term.

You Said we Did: New Tills

One of the top priorities the Endon Parliament raised for the school to improve was queue times at break and lunch. With the support of Caterlink, our new catering provider, we are introducing new tills that use facial recognition to verify pupils’ identities. This will make serving and transactions much quicker and reduce queue times.

You will already have seen the following letter shared a few days ago. Can all parent please read this letter as a matter of urgency: School Meals and Payment System

As with any significant system change, there is a possibility that the new tills may not be fully operational during the first few days after half term.

If this happens, we may need to ask pupils to bring a packed lunch while the new system is being finalised.

We will confirm the arrangements either before or during the half-term holiday, giving families sufficient notice to prepare packed lunches if necessary.

We appreciate your patience and support as we make these improvements. Our aim is to make the lunchtime experience as smooth and efficient as possible for all pupils, and we will keep you updated as the changeover progresses.

Thank you for your continued support.

Feeling Proud

Our 2026 GCSE results

We are incredibly proud of last year’s Year 11. Provisional figures published by the Department for Education show an Attainment 8 score of 53.0 for Endon High School, with 78.6% of pupils achieving a grade 4 or above in both English and maths, and 57.1% achieving a grade 5 or above.

These results place Endon among the highest-performing schools in the region and, based on the published data, the highest-performing non-selective, non-faith school within the local area. They reflect the hard work and determination of our pupils, the commitment of our staff, and the support of our families.

All data is published by the DFE and avaliable online here.

Figures remain provisional until the final DfE release later this year.

A very proud moment for Team Endon!
