Curriculum Allocation

L4L is taught in one form time a week and using additional external agency sessions and assembly time as additional support.

It is also taught as a timetabled lesson of 50 minutes per fortnight.

Curriculum Period 1: Careers focus

lesson 1 - recap work experience- positive and negatives lessons learnt

Lesson 2: introduction to Unifrog and other career platforms (understanding post16 options) 

Lesson 3 how to write a CV  

Lesson 4: different types of jobs and roles 

Lesson 5 - Analysing job descriptions , key terms of employability

Form time sessions include; how to come back after Covid and lockdown, how to connect in a relationship, resilience, revision techniques, self care strategies, different relationships inc LGBTQ recap
